Charms

Charms are free mints from collections that are available to your wallet. Scatter brings them together in a dedicated Charms section, so you can see your available free mints in one place instead of checking each collection individually.

Creators use Charms to share their work with collectors and other communities. For example, a collection can offer a free mint to wallets in a snapshot of another collection's holders.

Finding Your Charms

Connect the wallet you want to mint with, then open the Charms section on Scatter. The Charms shown depend on that wallet's eligibility for the collections' free mint lists.

Choose a collection to review its mint details. Each mint list has its own timing, supply, and wallet limits; review these before confirming a mint in your wallet.

Free Mints and Fees

Charms use private free mint lists. No Scatter platform fee is added to these mints, but you still pay the blockchain's gas fee. See Charms Stay Fully Free for the fee guidance.

Public mint lists have different fee rules, even when a creator sets the mint price to zero. See Minting Fees.

Offering Charms as a Creator

Create a private mint list with a zero mint price for the wallets you want to include. Choose wallet and list limits that match the allocation you intend to offer.

Follow Free Mints for holder snapshots and list setup. The Mint Lists guide also covers timing, limits, and how to disable or replace a list.
